Transylvania has always been in the top ten travel destinations recommended by “Lonely Planet” or other publications. An extremely popular part is the traditional food and the local recipes that are influenced by many communities. During this tour, you will have a culinary trip through the central part of Transylvania, and you will taste unique flavors. In the morning we will leave from Cluj Napoca to the Salt Mine of Turda (built in the 18th and 19th century), and then we will travel to the city of Aiud, which was famous for its vineyards. In Ciumbrud, a village near Aiud, we will get the chance to taste some of the best wines, along with traditional dishes. We will also visit together the village of Feleud, Colțești (one of the most important mining centers). Then we will stop in a superb panorama place to taste the traditional cuisine of Transylvania: smoked pork pastrami, homemade bread and lots of cheese with a glass of homemade palinka.
