Bucovina – this is how Paradise looks like
Project Description

Bucovina is one of the regions of Romania that you must see. It is an area that prides itself on its richly painted monasteries, built in the 14th-16th centuries. We invite you to join us on a two-day trip to visit UNESCO’s unique monuments.

On the first day, we will leave from Cluj to Bistrița, which was one of the most important commercial centers in Transylvania. We will enjoy a beautiful panorama of the whole city from the recently restored tower, and then we will go to Bucovina, where we will stay in a traditional guest house.

The next day we will start the journey in the world of Romanian Orthodoxy and visit the four monasteries recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage. In the evening, we will return to the guesthouse and enjoy a wonderful dinner with local dishes.

On the last day, we will leave Bucovina to the largest monastery complex in Europe. We will then reach the Cheile Bicazului, one of the most spectacular landscapes of the country. We will continue our journey to the Lacul Roșu, formed after a landslide and, according to the legend, it flooded an entire village and killed all its inhabitants, transforming the red water. In the evening we will reach Cluj.
